At the launch in Abuja, Director General of the scheme, Brigadier General Johnson Olawumi said: "The application will enable them to communicate and also access online content of the scheme"
Also, Brig. Gen. Olawumi said the introduction of the mobile application (app) was a tool for information dissemination that will fast track easy link between the scheme and its publics.

He said the mobile app will enable corps members communicate amongst themselves and officers of the scheme using their mobile phones.
It does sound like a useful app especially as an easy access repository for NYSC info and a way to get updates from the Corp.
