
UTA has signed award-winning author and screenwriter Dolly Alderton. She will continue to be represented by the Curtis Brown Group in the U.K. for screenwriting and media rights and C&W for U.K. and international publishing.
Alderton has written four Sunday Times best-selling books: “Everything I Know About Love,” “Dear Dolly,” and the novels “Ghosts” and “Good Material.”
The New York Times best-seller “Everything I Know About Love,” which also won a National Book Award for autobiography of the year, follows Alderton’s experiences and trials growing up, navigating friendships, coping with loss and grief, getting a job and falling in love.

The Sunday Times columnist adapted her memoir into a television series, which starred Emma Appleton and Bel Powley. Alderton executive produced the series for BBC One in the U.K. and Peacock in the U.S., with Working Title producing.

Alderton is currently adapting her bestselling novel “Ghosts” as a feature film for Working Title.The story follows a successful 30-something who envisions a bright future after a promising first date. After getting ghosted, she’s forced to confront the harsh realities of her not-so-perfect life.
Alderton’s most recent New York Times bestseller, “Good Material,” was published in North America in January of this year. It was also selected as part of the “Read with Jenna” series of Today Show Book Club Picks.
Alderton has been featured on Forbes’ 2018 30 Under 30 List, the Elle List, Variety’s 10 Brits to Watch 2023 and the Evening Standard’s Progress 1000, both in 2018 and 2019.
